Not long ago, we reported on the renewed cooperation between ŽOS Trnava and Greenbrier Europe.

We entered into the cooperation with Greenbrier with great respect. Launching the production of car carrier upper platforms, including surface finishing and the complete assembly of all components, was not an easy task. However, we assured the customer that despite initial challenges, we were capable of delivering high-quality products on schedule — which has since been proven. As of now, we are halfway through the contracted volume agreed upon in April 2024, with deliveries continuing until August 2025.

After internal evaluation, we concluded that we are ready to offer the customer an extension of deliveries. Following the submission of our proposal and subsequent commercial negotiations, we can now confirm that an agreement has been reached to continue with the delivery of an additional 200 units, with completion scheduled by June 2026. In today’s climate, where the industry is experiencing a slowdown and winning new contracts is increasingly challenging, this agreement represents a significant achievement — confirming our ability to compete, even during a downturn, with both quality and price.

We believe we will meet the customer’s expectations and open the door to further cooperation and expansion into other areas.
